Since 1994 Peja has been closely co-operating in Vietnam with the Damen Shipyards Group.

Damen Shipyards Group is one of largest shipbuilding groups in Europe, with 31 operating shipyards and production companies worldwide. Damen is a world market leader in Tugs and Workboats.

In Vietnam, Damen and Peja focus on building of vessels at local (Vietnamese) shipyards. Starting point is that the vessels built in Vietnam are matching the Damen quality standards. This is done in close co-operation with Damen Technical Corporation, a division of the Damen Shipyards group who has built these way more than 700 vessels in more than 60 countries worldwide

Today, this has resulted in a close and successful co-operation with a number of local shipyards in Vietnam and a number of successful projects completed for our Vietnamese clients. They include a fleet of modern Search and Rescue VesselsVessels (SAR project) executed with ODA from The Netherlands under the so called ORET program. Furthermore, we supply and build professional vessels like salvage tugs, patrol boats, tug boats, fire fighting vessels, oil recovery vessels, buoy laying vessels, environmental protection vessels, fishing vessels and fishery inspection boats, etc.
